Week To Pass, Week To Come.

I’ve made plans to get down to my church on Tuesday on time. Then the following day, Wednesday, be at a graduation for one of my friends. Another plan I’ve made was to start my homework immediately when I step foot in the house from getting home from school. Most importantly, DO NOT turn the TV on before doing homework. I followed two out of the four plans. I like the SQ3R reading strategy and the use of flash cards. Highlighting and making notes next to the reading, helps me the most, as well as reading the information twice. Yes, I was successful in the reading strategy and making my flash cards. I need to make some adjustments. They are, to do my homework at the kitchen table, so I won’t be tempted to watch TV. Another is, nap later and go to bed earlier. Some other adjustments I can make which will be a great deal of help is spending two hours of time for homework, for class. If it takes longer than that, take a break for 15 minutes than resume. I should get the harder staff out of the way because, it will mentally motivate me. I’ll tell myself, “I did the hard stuff and it’s over now.” The leftover homework will seem like a piece of cake and I’ll go into it like it’s nothing. This, for me, is what best suits how my mind and self talk work. If adjusting is what I got to do to make my life easier, then so be it.

  1. I like the self motivation beacuse thats where it all starts. Getiing to bed earlier is a good idea as well i struggle with the same issue.
